So proud!
I am so proud to be a white man! The Nazis in Toledo have done me proud! My people came here from Ireland years ago, never owned slaves, and fought for what they thought was right with the Confederacy. We came out on the wrong side of history, but as a family, we never lost our sense of decency.
What in the world are those people thinking? If I have any claim to superiority, it is because I think, not because of my color. The trait of thinking is not confined to any race or culture that I'm aware of. I do not want to hear of colored people saying they're victims of some white oppression, nor do I want to hear some pale white dude telling me he's somehow upscale. I want to hear ideas, not sad-sack laments.
An old bartender in Toldeo got burned out this weekend, whether by idjit white boys or reacting blacks. I still have my gray uniform hanging in my closet, in honor of my ancestors. Isn't it time we moved on beyond this? I celebrate my heritage, in being a re-enactor. I also have a clue to the future, and it doesn't include any Aryan superman bullshit. (It's my blog, and I can call it like I see it.) All you niggers, white trash, and anyone else who wants a demonstration, should go home. That includes Jessie, Al, David Duke, and anyone else looking to make mileage out of Ohio. There are things that the American people should be paying attention to, and those issues have nothing to do with slavery, color, or ever how you want to paint it. Thanks, my Nazi friends. You just reduced every white man another notch, and lessened our credibility to speak on social issues. The so-called "black leaders" won't speak on this; it's all about self-aggrandizement for them. The only time I'll stand behind a Nazi supremacist is to shoot one in the back.
How dare these people speak for me? Perhaps black folks should be asking the same question, instead of throwing rocks. Do you think and speak for yourself, or do others usurp that right? Yankees beat us into the dirt for your rights; are they now surrendered for a vote and a welfare check? Get off my plantation!

Personally, I am ¼ Native American. Most of the Blacks in this country are at least part White. The thing that makes this country great is diversity; anything that segregates detracts from the whole. The opportunity is out there...coming from poverty, as I have, I know this quite well. The whole victim mentality business is a farce...
I have this odd notion that all Americans should be on the same side now. No rock throwing, no parades by Brownshirts.
My forefathers didn't die for this, and we didn't fight that horrible war for rappers or Nazis.

I found the riots in Toledo to be sorry as hell, but I also found the Millions More Movement, and the mainstream people who agreed with and joined with Freakykhan equally sorry.

I'm all for diversity... but America should be the "melting pot" our parents taught us it was. Diversity today means that you can be an 'American' without blending in.
Diversity SHOULD mean: Coming to America from a different place and blending in.
Diversity SHOULD mean: Having a unique heritage that you are proud of, but you're PROUDER still to be an American.
Diversity should mean: Ability to speak a foreign language, but learning ENGLISH.
Diversity should mean: Having a different religion, but NOT demanding American Christians to give up theirs.
Tens of thousands of Americans fought and died to rid the world of Nazism... There is no place in America for Nazis.
You may not like Nazis, and you might want to demonstrate against them. So go ahead. You have First Amendment rights. But it ought to be peaceful. There is no place in America for riots (unwarranted destruction of private property by vandalism). There is no place in America for looting (unwarranted theft, up to and including grand larceny).

I would like to think that this is a unified country. Some folks would like it otherwise, for reasons that have to do more with their checkbooks than any sense of racial identity. Don't you just know that the Islamic TV stations are showing the "Million Man March" or wahtever they called it,as proof that all those people there are Muslims and that Radical Islam is alive and well in America. I despise equally the Nazi/white-supremacist scum doing their "marches" to incite the blacks, AND the black thug gansta's who will take EVERY opportunity to riot, loot and destroy property. But, people who are not awake to ANY opportunites in our society, except the "opportunity" to take advantage of a bad situation and make it worse...IMO, those people deserve their "lot in life." If they have enough energy and drive to riot, plan and commit crimes, be destructive, etc...then they've got the energy and drive to do something productive. Room for another Troll in mourning? Dude, is that you on the proud steed? Sweet! I've actually been looking for a t-shirt with a confederate flag on it that says, "Like Hell I'll Forget!". I know they exist.
Yeah, but we have a monopoly on those tee-shirts in the South. There are vast hordes of Confederate money waiting in cash boxes across Dixie. When we're not occupied blowing up levees on the hapless poor, we roll around in our script like Scrooge McDuck.
That's me on Cadillac. That quarter horse could beat any thoroughbred out of the gate, and loved to charge cannons. Something about that bass noise that set him off. He once jumped completely over a cannon crew at Gettysburg.
I have a baseball cap with an old Confederate on it, guarding a cannon and waving the flag. It says simply "Damn Yankees." It can be had for some thousands of dollars.
Georgia went through a paroxysm about changing our flag back in the '90s. The interim compromise looked like a placemat at Cracker Barrel. We tell ourselves these days that we can live with the politically correct substitute. The Atlanta newspapers told the Big Lie until enough people believed it. The Confederate flag no longer flies over Georgia, and I don't have a great outlook for All Hallow's Eve, either.
