Do they get it yet?

More bombings in London, and the police are said to be in pursuit of a wild weasel wearing explosive underwear, loose on the streets. FOX News has better coverage, but panic seems to be the order of the day in jolly old England.

Just yesterday, London's esteemed mayor, affectionately called "Red Ken" by some of his constituents, blamed the first wave of bombings on "The West". I wonder what he's thinking today? Does he "get it" yet?

Possum darlin',

You be a consultant...whoa, like me too ~~!! I am a glamour consultant and my favorite strategy is chlorox and a lawn mower...plus those flavored lip glosses...wow, talk about a paint job. The utility and beauty of it all. Sheppie wears more purple, lavendar, and pink eyeshadow than moi...but it is not pinko. Neither is Diva Liz. Hi Liz from the Kooks. When ya going to come work for me ??? I am way cooler and way more generous than Oprah.

Okay, my purpose in this blog is to keep you peoples from obsessing about the news du jour.

This too will evolve and it will all be revealed because my good buddy, Jorge Boosh, is the total Bomb and Lady Laura, the twins and the puppers are just class beyond repair.

Don't sweat the small stuff and remember, brevity is still, still, still the source of wit. Darlin' you have way, way, way too much incoming.

Laugh, pray, read the good book and always look people in the eye when making a biz deal. Not hill and bill tho. that's creepy.

Nerds Rule Out,
The Fab Four in Furs, Makeup, Tails, and we don't like Britney Spear's act much, but there is even hope for her ~~!!

[ ; o ) ~~!! Scrapplers taught me all I know. Mostly geek stuff.

Happy Thursday. I feel a weekend approaching and that is a beautiful thing. Please don't charge for careless spelling. If you had four insane dogs hanging on your typing arm, you'd understand.

The "news du jour", yes. It can be quite depressing.

Speakin' of "du jour", I was in a diner once and inquired of the waitress about the "Soup du jour", as 'twas listed on their menu...as follows:
ME: "So, what's the 'Soup du jour'?"
DITZ: "Oh, that's the soup of the day!"
ME: (Introspective pause) "And that would BE?!"

True story.

As for whether "they get it yet" or not, I'm sure some of them are just like the aforementioned waitress; clueless...

And there was, in fact, a waitress who once asked me "Would you like the soup du jour of the day?"

I like my du jours lightly roasted, with the special garlic and almond sauce.

Some call it a spear; some call it an arrow. This column<"http://www.townhall.com/
