Photo clarification

Yes, the previously posted picture is a shot of a .44 magnum at work. Clint Eastwood spoke it exactly right as "Dirty Harry": it's the most powerful handgun in the world, and will blow your head clean off.

It's a shame that at least one righteous student at Virginia Tech wasn't carrying one that awful morning.

You've gotta ask yourself one question:
Do I feel lucky?

You can have my Super Blackhawk when you pry it from my cold, dead hands! (Come on. I sounded just like Heston, there, didn't I?)

Say hello to my little friends, Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson.

Jeff Foxworthy has hilarious commentary about Southern people who keep handguns in their sock drawers. I have a "knife drawer" in my kitchen; in addition to world class cooking cutlery, the large-caliber tools reside there. I still carry the Browning .40 on rare traveling expeditions, but it and the S&W are mostly retired. I am enamored of the Sig Sauer P-232. I buy them for my kids, and one sleeps in the headboard of my bed.
